Communication Tool: Matrix

We will use Matrix as our common communication tool during CompPhysHack 2026.

Setup Instructions

1. Create an account: If you don’t have a Matrix account yet, please create one at matrix.org.
2. Install Element client: Download and install the Element client from element.io/download.
   • For PC/Web: Use Element (stable and feature-complete)
   • For smartphone: Use Element X (fast and lightweight)
3. Join the CompPhysHack2026 space: There is a public space called CompPhysHack2026. To join:
   • Use the /join command: /join #CompPhysHack2026:matrix.org
   • If you cannot find the space, please follow the link after installing Element: https://matrix.to/#/#compphyshack2026:matrix.org
